From the 29th of November to 2nd December 2022, Doctors Habil Otanga, Roseanne Njiru and Karima Chiuri have been at the University of Pretoria, South Africa for the African Early Career Researchers Meeting (AECRM). They were the representatives of the ARUA CoE NCDs at the meeting.
The four-day interactive meeting brings together seventy (70) early career researchers, most of whom are post-doctoral fellows to work with senior academic mentors and skills development consultants. The participants were drawn primarily from the current African research Universities Alliance Centres of Excellence and the post-PhD development projects on the continent that have been supported by the Carnegie Corporation of New York.
The centre is grateful for their participation at this meeting.
